Can you believe there are only 40 days until Christmas? OMG! Where have the days gone? Have you started shopping yet? I haven't, but the quilt that I'm sharing with you today is a Christmas present so that's one down and many more presents to go.
The pattern is called Diamonds & Squares and is from the book By the Bundle by Emma Jean Jansen. If you have a bundle of fat quarters this is a great book to have.
So without further ado...
The quilt went together quickly and was fun to make. I used a fat quarter bundle called Carnaby Collection Bohemian Brights from Liberty Fabrics. The pattern called for 18 fat quarters, but the bundle only had 15 so I had to pull some fabric from my stash. But I think they all work together very nicely.
The backing is a thrift store sheet and the gray that I used for the diamonds is also from my stash.
For the quilting, I did my usual stitch in the ditch.
The quilt finished at 64" x 72". Nice cuddling size.
