Another Plus Quilt

Hi everyone!

I have a new quilt to share with you.  Yes, it's another Plus quilt. What can I say? I love Plus quilts.

My oldest son has a few best friends that he has known since high school. One of these is Isaiah. Isaiah and Katelynne started dating in high school and are finally getting married. I say finally because there was a time we didn't think it would happen. But it is, and we're all really excited.

So I decided to make them a quilt.

I knew I wanted to make a Plus quilt. But this time I wanted to do something a little different. After browsing Plus quilts on Pinterest, I found the Pow quilt tutorial and knew it was the one I wanted to make.

I used a
fat quarter bundle that I had in my stash called Ludlow by Denise Schmidt for FreeSpirit Fabrics.

The backing fabric is a thrift store sheet and, the binding is from JoAnns.

For the quilting, I went with straight lines on the diagonal going from left to right with the lines about 3" apart.

The quilt is 67½" x 72". A nice snuggling size.

Well, that's all for that. But before I go...

Here's the Skittles quilt with its new owner. ❤😍
